João Paulo Barraca and Diogo Gomes presented a DIY Home Automation prototype for all makers, incorporating advanced M2M communications concepts, at the Lisbon Mini Maker Faire. It generated a great amount of interest among hobbyists and professionals, and was a great opportunity to show how the IoT will change our world.
In the first day, this was also complemented by a workshop presenting the approach taken. Check the slides (in portuguese) here.
